Understanding Harm Reduction: A Primer for Healthcare and Public Safety Professionals

This training module introduces first responders, healthcare providers, and other community professionals to the principles and practices of harm reduction. This module aims to reduce bias associated with opioid reversal medication. The course defines harm reduction as a continuum of evidence-based strategies that reduce risks associated with substance use and other behaviors, emphasizing survival, dignity, and incremental change.
