Full course description
Following these presentations, the student will: 1. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of cardiovascular toxicities from traditional chemotherapeutics and newer targeted cancer therapies. 2. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of modalities for monitoring and diagnosing cardiotoxicity associated with cancer therapeutics. 3. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the diagnosis and management of heart disease associated with cancer therapies and their management. 4. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of preventative and effective treatment of heart disease components essential to a comprehensive cancer survivorship program. 5. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of supportive and palliative care interventions for patients with cancer and advanced heart failure.
